2024 Open Squash Tournament
Come play in Scotland's capital with friends from LGBTQ+ clubs across the UK and further afield in a fun and friendly tournament, open to all.
Our 2024 tournament will be held on Saturday 29th June 2024 at the Pleasance Sports Complex & Gym in Edinburgh.
Schedule
Friday 28th June 2024
Everyone is welcome to (optionally) play the evening before from 6.40pm - 8pm to get a feel for the courts and venue.
Saturday 29th June 2024
We will meet at 10am to play round robin games to determine ranking for the afternoon knock-out. Lunch and snacks will be provided to all attendees, included in the cost of the event ticket.
Players in the lower categories who get knocked out in the first round will enter a plate tournament - so everyone will get a good few games in.
Do stick around and watch the finals and award ceremonies! Players who are still around in the evening can join us for the tournament dinner at a local restaurant.

- Who can play in the tournament?
- Our tournament is open to all.
- Am I good enough to compete in a tournament?
- We will run multiple categories of different ability categories, so everyone can compete with folks at a similar level and have some good games. Qualifying matches and a plate tournament for the lower categories should ensure everyone gets a few matches in.
- I'm coming from outside of Edinburgh. Is there any accommodation available to travelling players?
- Some of our members have kindly offered up a limited number of spare rooms and sofas. Please get in touch if you need a place to stay.
